This report provides the cost structure of ammonia production by Haber Process. In this process- hydrogen, derived from natural gas is combined with nitrogen in the presence of iron to produce ammonia. Initially, H2O is produced from natural gas by desulphurisation. It is then sent to a primary reformer where methane reacts to form Hydrogen. The gas is cooled and sent to a secondary reformer where nitrogen is added to form ammonia.
