This report provides the cost structure of paperboard by pulping, bleaching, and coating processes. Fibrous material like hardwood, softwood, and recycled papers are turned into pulp either by chemical or thermo- mechanical pulping method. They are then bleached by delignification or oxidation or reduction method to create single-ply or multi-ply paperboard, which can be coated using pigments or adhesives like styrene-butadiene emulsions and water for a better appearance.
