The polycarbonate (PC) prices have been declining recently as weak demand and high supply levels persist. The PC aggregation enterprises in China have been maintaining stable operations with minor fluctuations, sustaining an industry-wide load of 86%. Weekly production remains elevated at nearly 70,000 tons, resulting in abundant on-site supply. Some manufacturers have lowered factory prices, but high midstream inventory and sluggish pricing continue to weigh on the market.
On the raw material side, bisphenol A prices exhibit weakness, with upstream acetone falling and stabilizing, while phenol shows slight recovery. However, industry confidence in cost values remains low, and bisphenol A demand continues to face downward pressure, weakening cost support for PC.

Demand conditions remain subdued, with the market maintaining a light pre-holiday consumption pattern.
